First off, I think Tom Brokaw did the best job at moderating so far, thumbs up to him.

Now, on to the one topic I really want to address.

“That one” – http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/07/that-one-mccain-calls-oba_n_132802.html

There is no way, on the face of this planet, that you can come off calling that racist. He is simply refering to his opponent in a different way. It gets boring saying or hearing Senator Obama 500 times in a debate. Much like it got really disgustingly boring hearing both parties say “fundamental” followed by any number of other words. Come on people, use a thesaurus:

Fundamental -

basal, basic, cardinal, central, chief, component, crucial, element, elementary, essential, essentiality, first, fundamentality, important, integral, intrinsicality, major, necessary, organic, original, paramount, primary, primitivity, principle, quintessence, radical, real, rule, theorem, ultimacy, underlying, vital

At least half of those mesh beautifully within the context of campaign differences.

Overall, I felt like McCain led this debate, with Obama left to follow in his footsteps.

Both parties did an excellent job at dodging a lot of the questions asked and talking about whatever the hell they wanted.

Overall, I was pleased with this debate
